EAAD training seminars for community facilitators are adapted to the specific situation and particular needs of the respective occupational group. The main aim is to sensitize the audience for the topic “depression” and to improve its skills and knowledge. The participants should be enabled to recognize and identify depression more easily and to administrate and/or inform about possible and adequate treatment options and help offers. The networking and information exchange between different groups of community multipliers is promoted by training them together in joint events.
Guideline were developed for nurses, pharmacists, the police, the clergy, social workers, and teachers.
