The coordination centre of the European Alliance is based in Leipzig, Germany and supports the EAAD members in every matter:
Coordination - of the associations international activities, EU initiatives, decision-making (e.g. preparation and organization of meetings, reports to members about technical implementation and financial situation), coordination of common statements and publications.
Counselling - Providing information, recommendations and support on content related, administrative, and financial topics to the members, provision of material (graphical, manuals, presentation slides), counselling service for the implementation of the 4-level-approach, assistance concerning preparation and production of campaign materials, maintenance of website, etc.
Support - with the dissemination of research results to public, media, professionals, stakeholder, policy makers and the scientific community. The coordination centre also supports with research proposals and proposals for funding.
Management and Administration - of several EU funded research projects on depression and suicide prevention where the European Alliance is partner.
