Evaluation within EAAD

(begin of the content) [Alt] + [2]

To evaluate the efficacy of the methodology applied within EAAD (4-level-approch) the EAAD project group defined a set of core evaluation indicators during the 1st general meeting in April 2004. Along with these evaluation indicators, a core data set has been specified to be assessed by as many EAAD partners as possible implementing local campaigns. The EAAD core evaluation indicators cover the following topics:

In April 2004, a special work group was established which has developed standard evaluation procedures concerning data collection and processing based on methodologies which have already been proven to be effective and suitable. Approved instruments have been compiled and made available to all EAAD partners.

After a comprehensive phase of preparation which e.g. included pilot studies utilising new instruments in some regions a catalogue of official EAAD evaluation instruments has been prepared by the project office and distributed among the entire EAAD project group. This document lists all instruments recommended and contains suggestions for additional instruments or items which might be of interest for some regions.

The following pages provide an overview of evaluation activities undertaken in EAAD intervention regions by outlining methods applied and presenting a selection of EAAD evaluation material.
