The PROSPERH project aims at promoting positive mental and physical health in changing work environments- It is now entering a pivotal phase as preparations for its multi-country feasibility study enter their final stage. The feasibility study will be conducted to test the acceptability and appropriateness of the PROSPERH intervention in construction, healthcare and telework and ICT-based mobile work.
In recent months, PROSPERH’s consortium has contributed to the thorough planning of the feasibility study, with dedicated lead investigators providing local leadership across 11 countries:
Ireland (University College Cork)
Germany (European Alliance Against Depression)
Hungary (Végeken Mental Health Foundation)
Australia (Griffith University)
Kosovo (Për Mendje Të Shëndoshë)
Denmark (National Research Centre for the Working Environment)
Portugal (Instituto de Saude Publica da Universidade do Porto)
Netherlands (Erasmus MC)
Turkey (İzmir Bakırçay University)
On 9 May 2025, PROSPERH hosted a comprehensive online training session for 18 research officers representing the 11 intervention countries. The session aimed to ensure a standardised and high-quality approach across all countries as the feasibility study phase of the project approaches.
The National Suicide Research Foundation and the University of Stirling facilitated sessions on effective communication, on duty of care in research contexts and on productive discussions around participant experiences and insights.
KU Leuven led technical sessions that provided in-depth guidance on how to conduct research sessions and manage associated data collection processes, reinforcing methodological consistency across all intervention sites.
Innovagency conducted a session to familiarise research officers with the process for accessing and using the PROSPERH app, which hosts part of the PROSPERH intervention.
This training marks a significant milestone in aligning all country teams and ensuring readiness for the next phase of implementation.
PROSPERH continues to exemplify the power of international collaboration in addressing complex health challenges, uniting expertise and innovation to foster healthier and more resilient workforces across the globe.
